Tim Kelley, at the age of 18, surrendered his life and heart to Jesus Christ. After receiving a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Biblical Studies, he relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida. ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Dr. Charles F. Stanley, senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and founder of In Touch Ministries, demonstrates a keen awareness of people's needs by providing practical biblical truths for everyday life. Concepts of Faith Broadcast: With Charles W. Capps
Charles Capps is a retired farmer, land developer, and Bible teacher who has traveled extensively throughout the United States and several foreign countries sharing the truths of God's Word. He has taught Bible seminars for over 35 years, emphasizing the authority of the believer, faith and the power of words.
Charles and Peggy both have their roots in the rich farmland of Lonoke County, Arkansas. Having been raised by parents who were farmers, Charles began farming cotton, soybeans, and rice immediately after graduating from high school and marrying in 1951.
Peggy, being 3 1/2 months older than Charles had to sign as the adult on his behalf when he wanted to begin flying lessons at the age of 17. They joined an organization known as the Flying Farmers and gained experience going to "fly-ins" and national meetings across the United States. Neither knew that this skill of flying would be such an asset later when Charles began teaching personal evangelism in the 1960's. He spoke on the subject of soulwinning in churches not only in the US, but flew his twin engine Piper Comanche to the Bahamas to teach students of Youth With a Mission how to share Christ with others.
After reading a book by Kenneth E. Hagin entitled, "Authority of the Believer", Charles and Peggy's life took on a new dimension of travel and ministry as Charles became known for his teaching gift and insight on the subjects of faith and confession. Invitations to minister to the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International (FGBMFI) began to pour in, eventually leading to the publication of his teachings in book form. "The Tongue a Creative Force" and "God's Creative Power(r) Will Work for You" became bestsellers after Buddy Harrison, Kenneth Hagin's son in law, launched his publishing company with these two classics. These two books have sold millions (the God's Creative Power(r) series has sold over 5 million copies) and are still much in demand today.

Through the Bible: With J. Vernon McGee
John Vernon McGee was born in Hillsboro, Texas, in 1904. Dr. McGee remarked, "When I was born and the doctor gave me the customary whack, my mother said that I let out a yell that could be heard on all four borders of Texas!" His Creator well knew that he would need a powerful voice to deliver a powerful message.
As a student pastor, Dr. McGee's first church was located on a red clay hill in Midway, Georgia. It was there that he received his greatest compliment: "It was from a country boy wearing high buttoned, yellow shoes. After a morning service he came to speak to me. He groped for words, then blurted out, 'I never knew Jesus was so wonderful!' He started to say more but choked up and hurried out of the church. As I watched him stride across the field, I prayed, 'Oh, God, help me to always preach so that it can be said, I never knew Jesus was so wonderful.'"
After completing his education (earning his A.B. from Southwestern University in Memphis, Tennessee; his B.D. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia; his Th.M. and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas), and after pastoring Presbyterian churches in Decatur, GA, Nashville, TN, and Cleburne, TX, he and his wife came west, settling in Pasadena, where he accepted a call to the Lincoln Avenue Presbyterian Church. He recalls this period as the happiest in his life, with a young family and a young congregation whom he loved.
Dr. McGee's greatest pastorate was at the historic, Church of the Open Door in downtown Los Angeles, where he served from 1949 to 1970. There he began a daily radio broadcast called "High Noon Bible Class" on a single station.
Dr. McGee began teaching Thru the Bible in 1967. After retiring from the pastorate, he set up radio headquarters in Pasadena, and the radio ministry expanded rapidly. Today the program airs on over 400 stations each day in the United States and Canada, is heard in more than 100 languages around the world and is broadcast worldwide via the Internet.
During his last few years, failing health demanded the cancellation of many speaking engagements. This was extremely distressing to him. There was no recurrence of an earlier bout with cancer during this time, only a weakening heart. Back in 1965, after radical surgery, the doctors had given him 6 months to live. The Lord gave him 23 years.
Dr. McGee and the Board of Directors planned in advance how the program would continue in the event of Dr. McGee's homegoing. The message would remain the same and the "voice" of Thru the Bible Radio would continue to be Dr. McGee, through the use of the taped 5-year program, except for those foreign language broadcasts, where the producers use the printed 5-volume Bible study to translate and produce the program.
On the morning of December 1, 1988, a few minutes after a visit with the then Associate Director of Thru the Bible, alert and in conversation centered around his concern for the continuance of the radio ministry, Dr. McGee fell asleep in his chair and quietly passed into the presence of his Savior.

Rev. Dr. Homer Larsen has been Christian Crusaders radio speaker since 1962, the third to hold that title since 1936. Rev. Larsen was born in Westbrook, Maine. He graduated from Dana College and Trinity Seminary, both in Blair, Nebraska. After his ordination in 1948, he served at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Atlantic, Iowa. He accepted a call to Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa in 1953 and retired as senior pastor in May 1996. Rev. Dr. Larsen received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Rev. Larsen and his wife, Eunice, have three children: Natalie (Bob); Julie (Steve); and John (Laurie), and seven grandchildren.
Rev. Steven Kramer, senior pastor of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Afton, Minnesota, has been Christian Crusaders' associate speaker since 2005. Rev. Kramer grew up in Livingston, Montana. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1980 he joined Central Lutheran in Winona, Minnesota as youth pastor. He became the Associate Pastor at Central Lutheran Church in 1983. In 1986, he accepted a call to Shepherd of the Valley, where he continues to serve as senior pastor today. Rev. Kramer and his wife, Julie (daughter of Rev. Larsen), have two children: Sam and Martha. He currently preaches on the radio six times each year.

You see Jesus changed our lives so much, He brought us from a life of drugs, alcohol, gambling additions, a life on the street eating one meal a day, getting down to 70 lbs, having no hope, just wanting to get our next high from whatever was available however in January 2000 the Spirit of God visited Roger in our living room, Roger at one time was a Full Time Evangelist, Pastor, preaching the Word of God on radio and television but had went back on God for 15 years, some of those years were fun, as the bible states there is pleasure in sin for a season, but the majority of them were 7 times worse than when he never knew the Lord, which the scripture backs that up as well. Anyhow, after wrestling with the Holy Spirit for 2 weeks Roger finally said "Lord, I give you the good, the bad and the ugly, if you can use this mess of mine I will not let men or myself remove me from you again".
Roger continued praying for Sandy, as she never knew the Lord and Roger knew it was going to take the power of God to change her and sure enough, one evening Sandy was in their living room and the Spirit of God actually pinned Sandy to the sofa, she could not move and this went on for a good 45 minutes, after being released she went back to the bedroom, laid on the bed and something (Spirit of God) went thru her from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet and she began to speak in an unknown language and instantly Sandy was delivered from ALL her addictions, even her cigarette smoking that she started when she was 7 years old.
We wanted to share a small portion of our testimony with you to let you know no matter where you are at today, God still loves you and is there to help you with the addictions, habits whatever you may call them and He will make you a new creation and use you to be a Soul Winner, a Kingdom Builder for His name sake. Just ask Him into your heart, He will surely show up for you. He loves YOU so very much and so do we.
